This month has been all about Pets! Here is a post about “5 Common Pet Grooming Tips Answered By A Vet Tech”
>How often should I do my pet's nails?
"Every 4 weeks, you can do it at home if you start young but If they are giving you a hard time you should see your vet."
>How often should I groom my pets?
"It depends on the animal because different animals require different grooming."
> How often should I brush my animals?(both cats & dogs)
"It really depends on the length of the fur. I would suggest at least once a week."
>Should I bathe my cat?
"No. They bathe themselves regularly, although it is not harmful to them, it most likely will not be a pleasant experience on either end. You can always try to use a dry shampoo or mousse to help keep them clean."
>Why is my animal's butt scooting?
"Most of the time it has to do with issues with their anal glands, if it is persistent, make an appointment with your vet for a checkup."
To end this blog post, ultimately every animal is different and requires different things, seeing your vet is always the best choice if you are worried about something going on with your furry loved ones.
